The exciting and dramatic gay-themed short films collection Boys On Film is back! Boys On Film 16: Possession is the latest addition to the series. I wrote about this new collection of short films a few times already. But now, Peccadillo Pictures revealed the full list of short films of the latest addition to the most exciting gay-themed short film series. The short films that are included on Boys On Film 16 are:

  6. Jamie by Christopher Manning

  8. Sign by Andrew Keenan-Bolger
  9. We Could Be Parents (Vi Skulle Bli Bra Föräldrar) by Björn Elgerd
  10. When A Man Loves A Woman by Charlie Francis

All ten movies are directed by different directors (except for B. and Golden) and feature a wide selection actors. This new collection of short films will simply not let you go.

The plot

Every short movie has a different plot. Below you will find a short description of all ten short films of the Boys On Film 16: Possession collection.

Away With Me by Oliver Mason – 11 minutes

After Alex justed hooked up with Paolo in Londen, he takes him to his Aunt’s home in Nice despite only knowing each other briefly. Alex believes it’s a holiday romance, but does Paulo feel the same?

B. by Kai Stänicke – 15 minutes

B. tells the story of B. A shy and insecure woman who is torn between a cold relationship with K. and her feelings for another woman. For too long B. lived a lie and suppressed her desire. But is it really too late for B. to follow her heart?

Chance by Jake Graf – 17 minutes

Trevor’s life has become a void, following the passing of his wife and long-term companion, Doris. By chance, he encounters a mysterious stranger in the park who is equally troubled. This event reawakens Trevor and forces both men to live again.

Follow Me (Volg Mij) by Anthony Schatteman – 16 minutes

Follow Me (Original Dutch title: Volg Mij) tells the story of Jasper (played by Ezra Fieremans). He is a young man who has to weigh the overwhelming desire for his first love against the possible angst of rejection.

Golden by Kai Stänicke – 3 minutes

Golden is a heartfelt German short film about being different. In this three-minute film, you will follow a gold-colored boy from his birth until he meets his soulmates and love.

Jamie by Christopher Manning – 9 minutes

This short film by Christopher Manning tells the story of a young man’s first foray into dating. After meeting on a gay dating app, James spends a revealing afternoon with Ben.

Pyotr495 by Blake Mawson – 16 minutes

Pyotr495 is gay short horror film which tells the story of Pyotr (played Alex Ozerov) as he leaves his apartment and ventures out into the night. During this night he is baited into a dangerous scenario at the sprawling apartment of a member of one of Moscow’s financial elite.

Sign by Andrew Keenan-Bolger – 15 minutes

When Ben summons up the courage to talk to Aaron at their local subway station he is surprised to find that Aaron is deaf. Despite the communication barrier love blossoms, but their very different worlds threaten to tear them apart.

We Could Be Parents (Vi Skulle Bli Bra Föräldrar) by Björn Elgerd – 15 minutes

When Erik’s boyfriend Marely leaves him, Erik makes this movie as his last chance to get him back. With this movie, he explains that the only reason he sold sex was so they could afford to become parents one day.

When A Man Loves A Woman by Charlie Francis – 15 minutes

The short film When A Man Loves A Woman tells the story of Nick. He still hides his sexuality from his mother. When he receives a call from her to say she’s coming over to visit, he turns to his best friend Amanda to pose as his girlfriend. In order to convince a hungover and reluctant Amanda, Nick must use charm, cash and emotional blackmail.

Where to buy Boys On Film 16: Possession? / When Available?

Boys On Film 16: Possession will be released on DVD by Peccadillo Pictures on May 22nd, 2017. It will be released on video on demand platforms on May 29th, 2017. Currently, the short film collection is available for pre-order at the following stores:
