Violin tells the story of Oli and Jan. Oli is a musician. Jan, on the other hand, is a pot dealer. When Jan comes by Oli’s apartment to deliver his latest purchase, the two smoke some weed. During this, they get into a discussion on life, in particular on Oli’s violin playing. Will this discussion lead to something more? Watch the short film to find out.
Violin is an eleven-minute gay-themed short film by Roman Ilyushenko. The film which was filmed in Berlin got released on YouTube a little over three years ago. At the moment of writing, the film is already watched nearly one million times. The main roles are played by Johannes Huth (as Oli) and Hannes Sell (as Jan).
