Pyotr495 – an award-winning gay horror short film is available now

They gay short film Pyotr495 is released! The award-winning film is set in Russia in the year 2014. Russia just invaded Ukraine and a newly instated LGBT Propaganda Law makes it illegal to present gay life as normal. Also, Putin’s approval rates reached its highest point in years.

It tells the story of Pyotr (played Alex Ozerov) as he leaves his apartment and ventures out into the night. During this night he is baited into a dangerous scenario at the sprawling apartment of a member of one of Moscow’s financial elite.

Since its debut at Fantasia International Film Festival, Pyotr495 won several awards like the RBC Best Emerging Canadian Artist Award at the Toronto Inside Out Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival and Best Horror Short at the Vortex Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Film Festival. Also, the film was shortlisted for the SITGES Brigadoon Paul Naschy Award.
