Homophobia tells the story of an adolescent Austrian boy named Michael. He serves in the Austrian Military Forces and experiences homosexual feelings towards one of his comrades. The film depicts their last night at the Austrian-Hungarian border where they are socially isolated and armed with loaded weapons.

Homophobia is a gay-themed short film by Gregor Schmidinger. A few years after the film got released on YouTube, the film is already watched more than 4 million times. The main roles are played by Michael Glantschnig (as Michael), Josef Mohamed (as Raphael), Günther Sturmlechner (as Jürgen) and Harald Bodingbauer (as the commanding officer).
